Xiaomi 14 Flagship Smartphone Set for March 7 Launch in India: Here’s What You Need to Know
After months of anticipation, Xiaomi has officially confirmed that its flagship Xiaomi 14 smartphone is making its way to the Indian market on March 7. Although the Xiaomi 14 series debuted in China in October last year, its global introduction is scheduled for February 25.
Variant Details: The Xiaomi 14 series comprises three models — Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. However, Xiaomi India’s teaser hints that initially, only the standard Xiaomi 14 model may be launched in India.
Camera and Features: Xiaomi 14 boasts a triple rear camera setup developed in collaboration with Leica. This impressive setup includes a 50MP primary sensor featuring optical image stabilization (OIS) and a Leica Summilux lens, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. The Chinese version also features a 32MP front camera for high-quality selfies and video calls.
Battery and Charging: Powered by a 4610mAh battery, the Xiaomi 14 supports 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring prolonged usage without compromising on charging speed.
Colour Options: In China, the Xiaomi 14 is available in four appealing colours: Jade Green, Black, White, and Snow Mountain Pink.
Expected Pricing in India: In China, the Xiaomi 14 starts at CNY 3,999 and goes up to CNY 4,999, depending on the storage variant. Considering this, the anticipated pricing for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage in India could be around Rs 50,000. Meanwhile, the higher-end variant might be priced up to Rs 60,000, providing consumers with various options based on their preferences and budget considerations.
